So I finally got Charlie done... I tried to go for a less well known photo of the 'the most evil man alive' as reference. I did try to get into the prison so I could draw him from life but it turns out the authorities are quite touchy who they let in to see him..

I'm kind of in a mindset to do some more portraits at the moment although I do have 9 illos to complete for magazines before I can really think about getting down to them.

I did out of curiosity do a search to see if anyone had done a portrait of Giger himself to find only one buried away in the first 500 deviations I trawled through...

It seems so obvious considering what a weird looking guy he is that he would be a great subject for a killer deviation... but no, everyone is more interested in doing 20th rate impersonations of his work... ah well...
